Growing up with 2 creative parents and having minimal resources in Oakland, CA I was inspired to create a world outside of my circumstances. 

I was born to an immigrant mother from Belize who traveled, found love, and built a life of her own through culinary. Having a foundation through creative parents strongly influenced my passion for love, color, culture, and uniqueness. 

This brand cultivates and embodies my family’s long female lineage of seamstresses. My grandmother was her generations' number 1 wedding seamstress in Belize City.  

The first time I picked up a sewing needle was at the age of 6. This felt natural to me and allowed me to discover my true identity.

In summary, FP is black owned, hand stitched, unique clothing that is assured to make you feel and look one of a kind.
